An independent dance artist for the past 21 years, I bring a variety of experiences as a choreographer, performer and DIY producer to my new role at VIDF. I also bring 10 years experience as a web and digital designer.
With a vision that’s fresh and grassroots, the VIDF team decided that it makes sense that I contribute my web skills to the festival. In conjunction with the announcement of a transition in VIDF leadership and an Open Call to Artists, we revealed a new VIDF website that I wrote, designed and coded.
My approach to web design is small file, low carbon, open source and DIY.
For now, the primarily text-based site works off of Aaron’s updated logo and wordmark, and houses INFO about the organization, as well as a robust NEWS section of articles and calls to action. You can also see the carbon footprint at the bottom of each page ↓
Watch for a more performative and dynamic site released when we announce the full VIDF 2025 programme, Dec 2, 2024, and stay up to date by signing up for VIDF's newsletter.
