A solo exploring addiction, the first part is about discovery, hunger and never getting full. The second part portrays the severity of sobriety, and the purging and penance that come with it. Part three, the axe, holds the contradictions of protection and precarious violence.
After several years of working as an independent artist, Heather established little house dance to formalize her collaborative relationships with other artists. Heather’s dances have been described as “openhearted and palpab[ly] vulnerable” (Camille Howard), characterized by “exacting, challenging, and physically demanding choreography” (David Henry).
