Death and Flying

What are the objects, gestures or images that resonate a connection to our family? What things do we cherish to feel close to those we love?  Inspired by American poet Max Heinegg, this duet looks at things we collect and what we choose to leave behind.  Dance artists and long–time collaborators Rob Kitsos, Jane Osborne and Kim Stevenson, with the help of composer Elliot Vaughan, reflect on these ideas through complex puzzles of gesture, recordings, memories and movement.

Choreography: Rob Kitsos
Performers: Jane Osborne and Kim Stevenson
